Yesenia Perez-Cruz
Interactive Designer
Yesenia Perez-Cruz is a multi-disciplinary designer, with a love of collaborative thinking and a knack for the details. Prior to joining Happy Cog, Yesenia spent a year developing her interactive design skills at international design consultancy Electronic Ink, for clients including Penske Truck Leasing, E.ON energy, and the Please Touch Museum.
Yesenia is a Drexel University graduate with a B.S in Graphic Design. Her undergraduate experience was marked by collaboration and exploration of a variety of design disciplines. She worked with her peers to bring design to a Rwandan community, created the branding for the 2008 and 2009 Drexel Fashion Shows, and explored the role of design in promoting social change. Her study, “The Development of Modern Seats,” was awarded first place honors in the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s 2007 Student Competition.
While she hails from the enchanting island of Puerto Rico, Yesenia feels most at home on the fertile shores of Southern New Jersey. There she spends quality time with her dog Princess and four guinea pigs, which are appropriately named after ice cream sundae toppings. She fully subscribes to Don Kardong’s philosophy that “without ice cream, there would be darkness and chaos.”
