Brian Warren
Senior Designer/Developer
Brian Warren has been designing and developing for the web for over ten years. His formal training is in traditional graphic design and he has a passion for typography. His extreme attention to detail, along with his appreciation for aesthetic and user experience, give him a solid foundation for crafting both content management systems and fine CSS and XHTML.
Before working at Happy Cog, Brian ran his own agency, Be Good Not Bad, in Denver, Colorado where he worked with clients large and small, including The MacArthur Foundation, They Might Be Giants, Mozilla, and Beatport.
Brian has been the technical editor for two books: Handcrafted CSS (New Riders, 2009), and Web Design and Marketing Solutions for Business Websites (friends of ED, 2007). Brian also occasionally speaks at conferences and meetups, including Refresh, South by Southwest, WordCamp and the ExpressionEngine Roadshow.
When he is not nimbly walking the line between designer and developer, Brian enjoys coffee, photography, brewing his own beer and hanging out with his wife and toddler.
