Zeldman Video Keynote
Held in Sydney Australia, Web Essentials 04 was the first international web conference dedicated entirely to accessible, standards-based design.
Asked to keynote the event but unable to attend it because of the birth of his daughter, Happy Cog’s Jeffrey Zeldman instead sent the conference’s founders a short film (9 MB QuickTime video) directed by Eric Etheridge. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry.
Web Essentials is no more, but from its ashes sprang Web Directions and Web Directions North and they are magnificent.
