Our local SEO experts accepted the challenge, efficiently and effectively leveraging the power of local listings to build a strong local footprint, increase their online real estate, and grow quality organic traffic.
Design a Local Database & Strategy to Maintain Accurate Local Listings
The process of streamlining Winston & Strawn’s nearly 900 local listings through Google My Business (GMB) began with a discovery phase. Approximately 300 local listings already existed, but the information was often incorrect or inconsistent. After these listings were updated and optimized, we set out to create unique listings for the remaining offices and attorneys. Every listing was crafted to meet local SEO best standards – i.e. optimized names, addresses, phone numbers, business hours, categories, and photos.
With the almost 900 GMB listings updated, verified, and published, our work had only just begun. We were then tasked with creating a process to maintain and regularly update all the listings. Managing the profiles so they stay fresh and relevant allows Winston & Strawn to continuously grow their online visibility. This process also includes refreshing their attorney and office location databases to ensure GMB is updated when an attorney leaves or joins, or when an office opens or closes.
