Previews Inside Out (PIO) is a luxury lifestyle online publication for Coldwell Banker Previews International (“Previews”), the luxury home division of Coldwell Banker Real Estate. With over eighty years of prestige, Previews is an established and highly-regarded leader in the luxury real estate space. PIO reinforces this legacy by providing an insider’s perspective on luxury real estate, residential design, and luxury lifestyle. PIO’s readership is comprised of Previews agents and high-achieving mass affluent luxury.


Brand, Design, Development, Strategy, and UX



As high-end real estate in the U.S. market continues to gain popularity among foreign investors, attracting (and retaining) the attention of these prospective buyers is a priority. At the start of our engagement, issues were only viewable via devices that support Flash, excluding visitors on iOS tablets and phones. The project focused on creating a responsive design system to allow a broader audience to discover the magazine. Sharing content was also a key focus of this project. It's important for the content to translate across any device in order to build readership and strengthen buyer-agent relationships.

We created a sophisticated visual vocabulary to communicate to fashion-oriented and high society audiences, while still maintaining the recognizable Previews personality.

Adding new blog posts is intuitive and quick. The back end system was architected to adapt to varying amounts of content. If an image is missing or content is shorter than planned, the system will adapt the page layout appropriately without affecting the end-user experience. The ease of updating and adaptability is key for maintaining a consistent, high-quality digital experience.
